I was just starting the original project idea for him when this one popped into my head... so I ditched the other and made this one ; I hope you like it lokaaaiiii D:
Inspiration taken from Odin Sphere ^^ At least for the colouring. So pretty that game! But so boring....
Like most of my projects this one was an uphill battle nearly all of the way, but it wouldn't be fun if I stuck to what I was actually capable of. The most infuriating part was getting the colours to look good, but I think that worked out in the end.
A friend and I had a fair bit of fuss over the name. He originally suggested Chrysocolla, a type of gem that resembles coral, but I picked it on the assumption it was found near coral. Krystallos Kontari is Greek for "Crystal Lance", my next choice would have been Neptunaut.
I was tipped off to you liking Odin Sphere when I saw Gwendolyn in your favourites That game is cool but too hard and somehow I get bored quickly while playing it!
It wasn't underwater until the very end, I couldn't decide whether the background should be water or sky XD
You like it, I win!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
